Cage Free Boarding
Often the most stressful part of planning a trip is the worry you have about where your pet will stay and who will care for them. If you are like us, you feel guilty even thinking about a traditional kennel where your dog is surrounded by lots of barking all day, cold floors and very little one-on-one attention. We offer two options that will put your mind at ease and have your pet thanking you for choosing Belly Rubs as your pet care partner!
Family Style Boarding
Your dog is our houseguest and you will have peace of mind knowing that your beloved furry family member is being cared for by a carefully selected host family with our private boarding option. Our host families are stay at home parents, retirees or work from home; so your dog will receive lots of companionship and exercise. Our hosts only care for one to three dogs at a time and we follow your instructions for their daily routine and care. If they are allowed on the sofa at your home, they are allowed on the sofa at our home. If they sleep on your bed, they sleep on our bed. We feed them on your schedule with the food you provide. You can now plan your vacation or business trip knowing your dog will be in a loving environment with a trained pet care professional. Your host family will send you a daily email or text to let you know how your pet is doing while you are away.
We have host families all over Northern Virginia and will pair you with one that best suits your dog’s personality, lifestyle and needs. All Family Style Boarding clients must provide proof that your dog is current on rabies, bordatella and DHPP.

Boarding Deposit ($50)
A non-refundable boarding deposit is collected at the time of booking your reservation to guarantee space and will be applied towards your reserved boarding service.
Payment
All of our services are prepaid services; therefore payment in full is due prior to the first day of your reservation. If you choose to provide a credit card, we will charge your credit card the balance of your reservation on the first day of service. If you choose to not provide a credit card, payment in full is due seven days prior to the first day of your reservation.
