Belly Rubs Pet Care is always interviewing individuals who are interested in becoming a professional pet care provider. You must be a true animal lover interested in a rewarding part-time or full-time position with a well respected company. All of our team members are employees; we do not hire Independent Contractors (which means we take care of your taxes, bond and liability insurance). All candidates must agree to a national background check to be considered for employment with our company.

Mid-Day Dog Walker:   Responsible for a roster of clients that you visit every day, Monday – Friday between 10am – 4pm. You must be comfortable working outside in ALL weather conditions and be confident in your dog handling skills. Daily access to the internet is a must because our scheduling and most of our daily communication is done over the internet. You must have a reliable, insured vehicle and a current driver’s license. Because we pride ourselves on providing a high level of service to our clients, you must have excellent presentation and communication skills.

Dog Day Camp/Indoor Park Counselor:   Dogs love to run, jump, tug, chase and wrestle. We have the space and toys for them to do just that! Our indoor dog park gives dogs and their parents a safe, clean, climate controlled space for them to socialize with other dogs. Counselors must have a good understanding of dog play behavior and be able to recognize signs that play needs to be interrupted. Our counselors are responsible for engaging the dogs in activities to keep them mentally challenged throughout their time in the park to ensure a happy, well exercised dog. You will also be responsible for walking our camp dogs during scheduled potty break times and maintaining a clean environment for our dog and human park members. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, indicate the days & times you would be available.

Pet Sitter:   Responsible for a roster of clients that you visit when they are away from home on personal or business trip. Pet sitting visits occur between 6am – 9am and 6pm – 9pm with an occasional mid-day walk; overnight pet sitting visits begin between 7-8pm and require a 12-hour stay at the client’s home. You must be comfortable working outside in ALL weather conditions and be comfortable providing care for various types of pets (mainly dogs and cats). Daily access to the internet is a must because our scheduling and most of our daily communication is done over the internet. You must have a reliable, insured vehicle and a current driver’s license. Because we pride ourselves on providing a high level of service to our clients, you must have excellent presentation and communication skills. Preference is given to candidates who have availability seven days per week, including holidays.

Mobile Groomer:    We provide the mobile grooming van and supplies; you provide your own clippers, blades, shears and nail equipment. You will be given a schedule in a designated area to complete each day and you are responsible for keeping updated client grooming cards. Our groomers provide a full line of services ranging from a simple bath to full groom based on breed standards. You will ensure that the van is kept in a good, clean condition between each client stop and at the end of the day. As new clients join our client family, you will add these clients to your roster for future grooming needs. We groom seven days a week so we have several flexible schedules to fill. Daily access to the internet is a must because our scheduling and most of our daily communication is done over the internet. You must have reliable transportation to get to the grooming van and a current drivers license with a clean driving record.

Family Style Boarding Host Family:    Do you love dogs and would you be willing to welcome a neighbor’s dog into your home to care for them while their owner is away? We are currently hiring boarding host families to join our pet loving team. Ideal candidates are home full time (great for stay at home parents, retirees and work from home individuals) and have a dog friendly environment. You will be responsible for speaking with interested new clients over the phone to answer questions they may have about your pet care experience and potentially meeting new clients in your home for a pre-boarding interview. As a host, you are able to indicate to us the type, size and number (up to three) of dogs that you would be willing to host in your home.

Overnight Pet Sitter:    Do you love all pets and have the flexibility to be able to stay in our clients home while they are away on a business trip or vacation to provide care and companionship to their pets? We are currently hiring overnight pet sitters to join our pet loving team. Our client’s pets prefer the comforts of their own home over a boarding environment and we help to make this happen with our overnight pet sitting service. This position is ideal for candidates who do not have personal obligations at home (great for students and individuals who do not have another job requiring evening hours). Position requires that you arrive at the client’s house by 7pm and depart no earlier than 7am the following morning.
